Review and swatches of Oriflame Tender Care Balm
Oriflame is a Swedish beauty brand which is selling directly i.e the products are being sold by general people like us all you have to do is become a member and you can earn too. This review is about the Tender care balm. I have used two of their flavors blackcurrant, which was their first flavor introduced in Pakistan and recently cinnamon oil. More flavors are also available.
What Oriflame claims: Perfect to put in your handbag or as a special gift, Tender Care is a beautiful balm specially formulated for dry skin. It’s blend of Emollients, Beeswax and Vitamin E is so effective that the formula has remained the same since it was created in 1980.

- Beeswax: is a natural wax that helps to protect and nourish the skin.
- Vitamin E: acts as an antioxidant to help protect the skin from free-radical damage.
- Blend of emollients: reduces the evaporation of water from the skin and accelerates the recovery of the skin’s barrier function.

Packaging: The Oriflame Tender Care balm comes in a small oval shaped plastic container which is prety air tight and sturdy. Very easy to carry on the move and can be kept anywhere in your handbag or backpack etc. The color of the container is according to the flavor of the balm. My blackcurrant balm was a beautiful shade of mauve and cinnamon oil is a darker shade of orange.
The cover of tender care balm is a beautiful small square box in respective color. The container contains 15 ml or 0.5 fl.oz of the product. Expiry date is mentioned on the box. It usually have three years of use time.
Price: The current price of this balm is Pkr. 359, but I got this online from www.saloni.pk on a discount for Pkr. 179. Though the blackcurrant one is still of Pkr.249 which was the introductory price of the balm.
My Experience: Yes, it can be used all over your body. It’s not only a lip balm, it’s a complete body balm. I have personally used it for dry skin, lips, eyebrows, eyelashes even, dry elbows and dry cuticles, etc. During winter season the roots of my eyelashes gets dry and itchy. I have used many moisturizing lotions and creams but my problem wasn’t going away. Then I used this balm once daily on my lashes and saw major improvement. From that day I have fallen in love with this balm. Another very important benefit is it doesn’t only moisturize your skin but also heels the dry cracks or torn skin. And it stays on your lips, skin, eyebrows or etc for hours, so you don’t have to reapply. A very small amount of the balm is used for any purpose.
The balm is colorless with the good scent of the flavor. You may find the scent very strong in the container but when applied it quickly fades away to a light refreshing aroma. If you like your balms odorless or scentless, tender care balm is available in plain or scentless option.

- Price is too much for the quantity of the balm.
- The applied area can sticks dirt easily.
